Kathleen Carbone, CFP®

Director of Advisory, Principal

Kathleen Carbone serves as Principal, Director of Advisory, and a Senior Family Advisor at Parcion Private Wealth. As Principal and Director, Kathleen supports the strategic growth of Parcion, and leads Parcion’s team of advisors. As Senior Family Advisor, she leverages her extensive wealth management experience and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ credential to help business owners and their families unlock the true potential of their wealth.

Kathleen supports business owners leading up to, through, and after life-changing liquidity events, providing advice on tax mitigation strategies, investment solutions and portfolio optimization, wealth transfer and legacy planning, asset protection and risk mitigation, and philanthropic planning. She understands that her clients’ businesses are more than a job, they are often part of their identity and life’s mission; Kathleen’s goal is to support them through every transition, simplifying their lives along the way, and giving them the confidence and clarity to think bigger about what’s next. In the end, her clients preserve the legacy they’ve built by keeping more of what they’ve earned to support themselves, their families, and their community.

Kathleen grew up in Spokane, Washington, before earning her B.A. in finance at the University of Washington Michael G. Foster School of Business. She later obtained her CFP® credential and is working toward her Certified Exit Planner™ designation. Prior to supporting the founding of Parcion Private Wealth, Kathleen spent several years at UBS Private Wealth Management and Morgan Stanley.

Kathleen has received local and national recognition for her impact on the financial services industry; she was named to the 2024 Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisors Best-In-State list, ranking #4 in Washington State, the Puget Sound Business Journal named her to their 40 Under 40 list of leaders in the Pacific Northwest, and 425 Business Magazine named her to their 30 Under 30 list of leaders in the greater Bellevue community.

Kathleen is passionate about supporting her community, and is actively involved in several organizations, including:

  • Vice-Chair, Legacy Council of Seattle Children’s Legacy Advisors
  • President of the East King County Estate Planning Council
  • MAKERS Committee, ACG Seattle
  • Kappa Alpha Theta Alumni Association

Kathleen enjoys staying active, traveling with her husband, and attending concerts and local sporting events. Go Dawgs!
