Sam King

Sam King is an accomplished executive leader with deep expertise in wealthtech, operations, and client success. Before joining Parcion, he held senior leadership roles at Envestnet | Tamarac, Addepar, and PCR Financial Aggregation, where he played a key role in scaling high-growth wealthtech firms and building world-class service organizations.

Sam began his career at a Seattle-based registered investment advisor, leading operations and client service. He later transitioned into fintech, where he partnered with hundreds of leading wealth management firms to deliver exceptional client experiences and implement best-in-class operational practices. This front-row seat to the inner workings of top-tier RIAs nationwide gave him unique insight into the drivers of growth, client retention, and operational excellence—expertise he now brings to his work at Parcion.

As Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, Sam works closely with Parcion’s executive team to drive operational excellence, deliver a world-class client experience, and build the infrastructure that powers the firm’s next phase of growth. He is known for bringing clarity to complex challenges, building high-performing teams, and helping visionary leaders turn big ideas into repeatable success.

Sam earned his BA in Finance from Washington State University. A passionate traveler and lifelong mover, Sam finds his flow surfing, paddle boarding, wing foiling, and running—ideally somewhere warm and near the water. He’s also an avid yogi and lives for any experience that sparks joy, movement, and human connection.
